Bio:
DC Rock & Roll power trio, THE FED, was born out of the infamous
Tuesday open mic nights at the now defunct Adams Morgan institution,
Staccato Music Hall & Lounge. As the group reared their gritty sound
in a Sherman Avenue basement, news spread quickly of their boozy,
high-energy live shows. The prolific performers recently released the
long awaited EP Birth of the Pipesnakes, available on iTunes, and in
vinyl record stores throughout Washington. Here them on radio station
DC101 who describes their music as “Barfight Rock & Roll.”
